"
We are joined by a border but our bonds are so much more than that. In my home town of Chicago the population is at least 1/3 made up of people of Mexican heritage. All across America, all across the US we have benefited from the culture, the language, the food, the insights, the literature, the ambitions of people who have migrated from our southern neighbor. " This is what Mr. Obama claims. We are joined by a border that needs a wall. It is not a good thing that 1/3 of your towns population is taken up by a people who refuse to call themselves Americans. It is not a good thing that these people come here and do not pay taxes like hard working true Americans. We have not benefited from their language in any way. Speaking Spanish and refusing to learn English and use it in everyday situations proves that they do not want to Americans. As a southern California resident I live in Aztlan or old Mexico and I am reminded of it every time I go to the store, the gym, the movies or damn near every other place you could possibly go. Burger King isn't allowed to, not even demean the Mexican flag, but just portray it in a way they don't feel fit but it is perfectly fine for them to fly their Mexican flags here and burn American ones. We accommodate them at every possible turn. Parts of Los Angeles are completely in Spanish. Street signs, billboards, road signs, business signs and everything else you can imagine is not in English. They don't accommodate United States citizens in other countries, especially not Mexico. They see us as easy targets to rob, mug and kidnap, even kill. Obama is speaking of amnesty and amnesty is the worst decision this country could make. Texas is bringing up talks of secession. Now, this is a last resort and possibly a way of getting the change we need without a bloody revolution. Although, revolution is probably the only way this country will ever recover from what Obama is doing to us. We need to read and learn our Constitution and understand that we and we alone as citizens have the right to change our government if it does not perform and this time has come upon us.
I will leave you with a final quote from the greatest political writer this nation will ever see, Patrick Henry. "I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience."
